updating my blog again in 6h...here's some material good for a GP paper...

juz now went to grammophone...and the rating for the brotherhood vcd
is...M18...lucky i went to watch it when van told me i can't come to her
bdae party...or i'd be missing it sorely...still can remember the story
vividly...

16/07:8h after van profusely apologised to me for now allowing me to come to
her bdae party the path was clear for me to watch brotherhood,then rated
NC16(it was 6 days after rmun and 75 days after my bdae)...happily went into
Lido at 1830...and 2115...went out...go down kena caught by zealous...paotoh
to ah kun...kena sai...but i definitely had a great time there...save for
the last part when i was profusely msging christl...who asked me whether the
movie great or not...

yeah...and this exposes the probs of censors...they screw too TIGHT!!

some family drama like In America was given a jacked up rating for
nudity,coarse language NC16,even sports flick with not much violence
watsoever got M18...juz becoz of some coarse language...chicago...for it's
cinematic excellence...fell on the nudity part again...even a slight sex
reference would warrant a NC16 straight away...and 1 min is enough for
M18...Big Fish,Terminator,Predator,Starship Trooper,Stuck On U etc...even
Starsky and Hutch...was regertting that i didn't watch the movie
earlier...even something innocent can be M18...like Pieces Of April...Pink
Panther can have NC16...and it seems like many of the best movies are all
given jacked up ratings...violent flicks like passion of the christ kill
bill and the punisher not withstanding...i feel that there's a prob with
censors...

too sensitive liao...was thinking that the rating is useless to a large
extent becoz the dude can't buy(like me...prohibited from buying saving
private ryan...) becoz of the higher rating...but somehow he can pester a
relative to buy for him...then he kena expose all the same...the parent go
and pamper...still the same...seems like by trying to shield children from
bad content...it seems like only cartoons and some family shows are suitable
for them...and dao tou lai they still have to be exposed...no effect....and
there's no cut versions...ugh

which goes to say that i was still seething from the fact and regretting
that i didn't watch Saved during the sneak period...when it was NC16...one
complaint was all it took to do some jackshit...and all the worst films are
given lax ratings...how guai lan...

lucky i still can obtain the return dvd...

ok...and i'm missing my frens i befriended thru rmun...a whole lot of
ppl...many whom i still sms till this day...and some who became my gd
frens...wonderin when can i get together with my rmun mates...after
Os...we'll see...
